Une bien belle disicipline et de superbes images du championnat du monde qui vient de se dérouler (un peu parès l'IronMan) sur l'île de Maui à Hawaï. Au menu des athlètes : 1500 m de natation, 30 km de VTT et 10 km de trail, soit +/- l'équivalent d'un DO. Cette année pas de participation pour moi mais expérience vécue un peu différemment au sein de l'organisation. L'envie de participer était bien évidemment bien présente en regardant toutes ces belles courses. Le X-Duathlon de Trèves était le 4° et dernier duathlon vert au programme de cet hiver. J'avais déjà entendu parler de cette organisation du club de triathlon local (Tri Post Trier), plus sélective et plus relevée que le cross duathlon du Bambesch par exemple. RDV traditionnel de l'automne, le duathlon vert cloture la saison de plusieurs bikers. C'est devenu un classique dans mon calendrier et j'y revenais donc avec plasir cette année. Deuxième duathlon vert ce w-e. Malheureusement, suite à un malentendu, je me retrouve sans co-équipier pour la course à pied. Ouverture de la saison (automnale) des duathlons vert (VTT et CAP) avec cette première épreuve à Malmedy. Le parcours se compose d'une première boucle de 5,5 km suivie d'un parcours de 18 km en VTT pour terminer par la même boucle de CAp amputée du tour de piste initial.
